Eddie hails from outside of New York City, and is new to both Portland and the team at DHM. In his role as Research Associate he engages with qualitative and quantitative projects, serves as a conduit for internal and external communications, and works with his colleagues to synthesize data in a conscious and collaborative manner. Eddie offers backing and assistance to DHM’s Political Director John Horvick, manages qualitative research projects, conducts written analysis, produces graphical content, and provides quality control for DHM.
Eddie graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in Political Science in 2014. Vassar’s flexible requirements allowed him to explore non-traditional notions of the political, integrating courses focusing on creative writing, photography, and video art into his studies. He is particularly interested in bridging the gap between communities and policies through creative political engagement.
Eddie is thrilled to experience Oregon politics through the unique vantage point which DHM Research offers, furthering his understanding of local and regional issues in the hopes of contributing to projects of social and economic justice.
